My name is Jessica Maldonado, and I am a Daytime Emmy Award-winning journalist. I began my career in television entertainment news at a young age, working for some of the top Spanish-language networks in the industry. I was born and raised in Boyle Heights area in Los Angeles, growing up on Boyle Avenue just steps away from Max Factor’s historic home. He was one of the greatest makeup visionaries of all time and has always been one of my icons. As far back as I can remember, I have always loved makeup — especially eyelashes. Whenever I wore lashes, I felt powerful, confident, and ready to conquer the world. I truly believe lashes can transform not only your look, but also your mood, making you feel glamorous, empowered, and regal. The dream of launching my own lash collection has lived in my heart since I was a little girl watching the beautiful actresses of classic Hollywood films. I was mesmerized by their dramatic, hypnotic eyes and dreamed of one day helping women recreate that same timeless beauty and confidence. I began working on this project several years ago, but when the pandemic hit, the process slowed down. Even so, I never gave up on this dream. Every pair of lashes has been created with love, care, and dedication so that you, too, can feel beautiful, empowered, and fabulous — no matter what challenges life may bring.
